The setting comes first
Trimmed hedges, green lawns and tea-country views aren't decoration — they're the whole point. People arrive tense and leave lighter.
What started as a training centre has grown into one of the region's friendliest all-round venues — for meetings, milestones and everything in between.
Highlands Training Centre sits on the Chepterit–Kamonjil road, a short hop off the Eldoret–Kapsabet highway. The name says it plainly: this is a place built for training and gathering, set right in the cool, green Nandi highlands.
Over the years, the same qualities that made it good for seminars — space, quiet, clean air and honest hospitality — made it a natural home for weddings, church conventions, school camps and company away-days too. Today the compound handles all of them, and most of our bookings still come the old-fashioned way: someone attended an event here, had a good day, and told a friend.
"Give people room to think, feed them well, and let the highlands do the rest."
Trimmed hedges, green lawns and tea-country views aren't decoration — they're the whole point. People arrive tense and leave lighter.
Our own kitchen and dining hall mean hot, generous meals and tea breaks that run on time — no waiting on outside vendors.
Venue, catering, décor and activities are all handled here. You plan with people who actually know the compound.
A gated compound just off the main road, with ample parking and space that never feels crowded, even on a big day.
From a ten-person board meeting to a school of hundreds, the halls, lawns and marquees flex to fit the crowd.
Weddings, graduations, camps and away-days — we sweat the small stuff so your group leaves with a good story.
We're near Chepterit in Nandi County, just off the Eldoret–Kapsabet road. Far enough out that the air is cool and the surroundings are green and quiet — close enough that guests from Eldoret, Kapsabet and beyond reach us without a long trek.
The best way to understand this place is to stand on the lawn and look around. Arrange a visit and we'll show you every corner.
